Privacy Policy

Ovra is a cycle and symptom tracker for people with PCOS. Health data is personal, so we keep this short and plain.
The short version
- Your health logs stay on your iPhone. Cycle dates, symptoms, mood, weight, notes and your profile are stored on your device. We don't have servers that receive them.
- No ads, no data sales. We never sell or share your data for advertising.
- No account needed. You can use Ovra without giving us your name or email.
- You're in control. Delete everything at any time from the You tab → Delete all data.
Data stored on your device
Everything you enter in Ovra (period dates, symptoms, mood, energy, sleep, weight, medications, notes, goals and the name you choose) is saved locally on your iPhone, encrypted by iOS while your device is locked. It is excluded from iCloud and computer backups and is never stored in iCloud, so deleting Ovra or erasing your device permanently deletes it.
When you create a doctor report, Ovra generates a PDF on your device. It's only shared if you choose to share it.
Subscriptions
Payments are handled by Apple. We never see your card details. To manage Ovra Plus subscriptions we use RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device information (such as app version and country). This data is used only to provide and restore your subscription. It doesn't include your health logs. RevenueCat processes this data under its own privacy policy and data processing terms, which provide protections equivalent to this policy. We don't use any other third-party SDKs, analytics or advertising networks.
Notifications and App Lock
If you turn on reminders, Ovra schedules them on your device; their content isn't sent to us. If you turn on App Lock, Face ID or your passcode is checked by iOS; Ovra never receives your biometric data.
Data retention and deletion
Your health logs are kept on your device until you delete them. Delete everything at any time from the You tab → Delete all data, or by deleting the app. Subscription records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide your subscription and meet legal obligations.
This website
This website doesn't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
Children
Ovra isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Your rights
Because your health data stays on your device, you can view and delete it directly in the app, and share a summary as a PDF. For questions about subscription data held by RevenueCat, or any privacy request, see our support page.
Medical disclaimer
Ovra is a tracking and education tool. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
Changes
If we change how data is handled, for example by adding optional cloud sync, we'll update this page and tell you in the app before the change applies.
